Friends are for life .. .. ..

We all have friends whatever the number represents, isn’t it? About numbers anyone can say ;

“I have only 1 friend in my life”

“I’ve lots of friends and among them some are really good friends, some are my best friends and some are my best bed mates…”

As I said earlier numbers are not important for any of us. What matters to us are the following questions

Who are my real best friends of mine?

The answer you should know already. But before choosing this answer please keep asking twice, are you really making the right choice?

British anthropologist Robin Dunbar proposed a number for on average personnel can maintain around 150 stable social relationships with each other. This number is called Dunbar’s numbers nowadays.

It is not mean that 150 personnel would be your friend or best friend or whatever you like to say. In the era of social media and the internet, we all do have tons of friends and tons of people to interact with all the time. We often meet with new people as we go through life. But whenever we think about or talk about proper friends; people we can have a meaningful relationship with, share odds and success confidently and get back all kinds of support during need. The number gets lower to zero from 150 or even more.

We don’t even notice it happening when our best friends get away from our life and we don’t recognize when the new best mate replaces the one we really want to have forever. Actually, it is very natural to us and the way we things are. We often move in and out of each other’s lives and that’s the way it is. As per Mr. Richard Templar

The more everyone moves around, the more fluid friendship groups can become.

Why is this happening? the simple answer is people are now moving faster than earlier ages. We are not living in only one village or community. We often move from here and there. That is why we have new faces around us and new relationships.

This sounds sad, but the reason for it is that new people are becoming important to you and giving you the support, fun, and company that you need. And the same thing is happening for the people dropping quietly off the bottom of your friend list. So it’s OK. In fact, it’s a good thing. There are always new friends waiting up ahead. So work to keep the friends that you really want to hang on to, but don’t feel bad when others drift away from you.

Please make a note for onwards-

Friends come and go

This writing was inspired by the book “The Rules to Break” written by Richard Templar. Some words are from his written as well to get organized this post.

“The Rules to Break” – A book Review

Are the rules meant to break? Buddies; Be careful! I’m not asking about all of the rules meant to break. To identify what exact rules to break you should have to read the book “The Rules to Break” by Richard Templar.

Richard Templar

The author writes about 100 rules to break in this book. I have just gone through only 6 rules to break and I have already been impressed by his strong storytelling capabilities. Just only following words push me to write this book review;

“The world is against you”

“Listen, we all get good breaks and bad breaks. People treat us badly or we get lucky and they spoil us. We all have great teachers, rubbish friends, tricky mums or dads, difficult siblings, supportive adults when we’re growing up… a whole mishmash of influences. “

But in the end, it’s we (you/I), who should take responsibility for all outcomes of our work and activities.

Here is the rule he concludes for this chapter # 6 and rule # 6

You’re responsible for your own life.

I will write on this book more in some days when it’s finished by me. Till then happy reading and please let me know how you found this book so far and what are the important topics to you. Thank you. Cheers! Happy Reading.

Christina Perri – A Thousand Years to love …

First of all please don’t be angry with me if I made a great title on my own.

Yes! I’m talking about the singer from Pennsylvania another college dropout from her communication major degree. Why do most successful people always have to be dropped out?? That means I’ll not be successful! As I’m not a dropout till now…(There still may chance, isn’t it?)

Ok, yes I’m writing about Christina Perri; The song I really loved her is as follows;

This song is known as the theme song for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1. Obviously, I love that movie as well.

Let’s talk about her again; You will be surprised if you know how she learns to play guitar.  Yes, buddy! she taught herself all alone just watching a videotape of Shannon Hoon; another great singer.

According to the wiki so far I know that she became the singer after breaking up and getting divorced. The first album which bring her all success is “Jar of Hearts” Which was written by herself end of 2009. Making the dream true she goes to Los Angeles and worked as a waitress in a cafe during the day and at night she does her recording for her very first own album. After hardworking; yes the dream came true her debut album sold 100k copies within a month.

She is not just a star but also a family personnel. As per her statement when she was in Los Angeles, she felt terrified being over 3000 away from her family and she cried out every day for that ….

The following image was taken from her website.

After all, I can say if you have time please listen to her A thousand-mile song and read through it sure you’ll miss someone if you really have a love for someone.

The day we met,
Frozen I held my breath
Right from the start
I knew that I’d found a home for my heart
Beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave?
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall
But watching you stand alone?
All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

One step closer
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything take away
What’s standing in front of me
Every breath
Every hour has come to this

One step closer
I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don’t be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I’ll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has
Thanks, Perri to have a great song to be a gift for each and every lover to their lover. I would like to play this song every special moment….

“Good to Great” a great writing by “Jim Collins”

Good to Great”- this book was written by Jim Collins. This is one of the best business books so far I am still reading. When I am going through pages by page I wonder if I could remember those all! But it’s just not simple. So I have made a decision I will write some quotes and special words from this book on words and keep it for me in future.  And obviously, his great outcome should not be forgotten and I must share it with each of them; whom I really love to see to be successful in their life.

In chapter # 3 he explained those;

How to be Rigorous?

Practical Discipline # 1: When in doubt, don’t hire-keep looking.

Quote: “Those who build great companies understand that the ultimate throttle on growth for any great company is not markets, or technology, or competition, or products. It is one thing above all others; the ability to get and keep enough the right people.”

Practical Discipline # 2: When you know you need to make a people change, act.

The Answer he concluded; “First, if it were a hiring decision (rather than a “should this person get off the bus?” decision), would you hire the person again? Second, if the person came to tell you that he or she is leaving to pursue an exciting new opportunity, would you feel terribly disappointed or secretly relieved?

Practical Discipline # 3: Put your best people on your biggest opportunity not your biggest problems.

James C. Collins (Jim Collins)

There is an important corollary to this discipline. When you decide to sell off your problems, don’t sell off your best people. This is one of those little secrets of change. If you create a place where the best people always have a seat on the bus, they’re more likely to support changes in direction.

The key point of this chapter is not just the idea of getting the right people on the team on the team. The key point is that the “who” question comes before “what” decisions- before vision, before strategy, before organization structure, before tactics. First who, then what – as a rigorous discipline, consistently applied.

[I will back again to this topic and this will continue to beyond and infinity]

নিচের ৭ টি কাজ বিশ্বের অর্থনৈতিক দিক থেকে  সফল মানুষেরা করে না বা করতে দেখান যায় না ;
